After School Activities
The After School Activities Program (ASAP) at Degerloch offers students the chance to explore new interests, develop confidence, and build essential skills through a wide variety of engaging activities. Designed to support healthy minds and active bodies, the programme changes each semester to keep the experience fresh and inspiring.
The After School Activities Program (ASAP) is designed to offer students, grade 1 and older, at all skill levels the opportunity to try out a variety of activities. They encourage teamwork, contribute to self-confidence, and may help uncover an interest that could last a lifetime. Programs vary each semester. The mission of the ASAP is to provide quality training in a variety of well-structured activities to further the development of a healthy mind, body, and attitude as well as to practice and develop specific skills needed to be successful in hobbies and activities of interest. This program is available for Degerloch and Sindelfingen students.

Signup for activities will open on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 19:00 and close on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 21:00 on the Veracross Parent Portal.

ASAP Explorers, is our exciting new after-school program for students in grades 1-5. This program extends the school curriculum with fun and engaging activities. Parents can choose up to three blocks per afternoon, offering a perfect solution for after-school childcare. Working harmoniously with the ASAP Activities program, families can tailor the afternoon to their children’s interests and needs, enhancing their learning and play experiences with peers!

Lego League Club
ISS Lego Club is a program designed for elementary school-aged children. In this ASAP class students will work in teams exploring new science and technology topics. They will learn programming with a robotics set in a playful way and create motorized LEGO models.

Come and learn hand sewing techniques and embroidery. We will learn decorative stitches as well as basics such as sewing on buttons, and use them to make various items like mats, pictures, simple cases for phones and even soft toys. Eventually we may also start using sewing machines too.
