Photo Voltaic Solar 

We will incorporate a state-of-the-art photo voltaic systems in both our new building and the Lower School building. Our photo voltaic planning will produce 230,000kW/h which will account for approximately 50% of our annual electricity consumption.

Geothermic Energy & Heat Pumps

Our probe field will have 32 probes, delivering 200kW useable energy for heating and cooling purposes. This energy can be utilized in two ways: cooling our school during the summer by extracting heat from the building and transferring it into the ground, or raising the temperature to 70°C using a heat pump for heating purposes.


We will all work together to  reduce energy consumption through energy preserving activities and practices that implement available technologies for better efficiency. About 15% of primary energy can be saved by installing and using decentral heat exchange ventilation systems in our existing buildings. Such ventilators also improve the air quality in the classrooms. Further savings can be made by upgrading our radiators to reduce the required input temperature and will  also install low energy consumption light bulbs across all our rooms and intelligent light control systems to further reduce the energy consumed. An intelligent control system will allow us to first reduce the electricity usage peak and secondly use all the sustainable energy provided in our new systems.
